Sticking with the plan

Tom Rampulla: Thank you, thank you, thank you. I could never be an actor. It’s like I talk to my kids: “Hey, that was great, but…” [Laughs.]

Question [on screen]: What does good advice look like?

Tom Rampulla: When I think about good financial advice, I think about the word discipline—and that’s discipline around developing clear objectives and goals, having a plan to meet those goals and objectives, making sure you’re not paying too much for your investments, and then, finally, sticking to the plan. That’s probably the most difficult thing in times of financial stress, and the markets are moving.

So, it’s really important to have the discipline and stay the course and stick with the plan.
