Question [on screen]: How would you describe the culture at Vanguard? 

Lauren Valente: The core to our culture at Vanguard is a simple phrase: Do the right thing. It starts with our clients. Putting their interest at the center of all that we do.

And then it also extends to how we treat each other, our fellow crew, working collaboratively and candidly.

And then a big part of our culture is our generous spirit of giving back. We lend our time, talent, and treasure to the communities in which we work around the globe. Every crew member has a responsibility to do the right thing, and every crew member can make a difference.
