Vanguard is making progress on achieving our diversity goals. We are particularly encouraged by the strides we have made in the advancement of women in leadership positions. As of year-end 2020, women held 44% of our leadership positions. In addition, women compose 30% of our board of directors, 35% our company’s principals or senior-level leaders, and 25% of our executive management team. People of color currently represent 22% of our leaders, 10% of our board of directors, 17% of our principals, and 17% of our executive management team. While more work needs to be done, we are moving forward with our goal of having a more diverse workforce.
